Clan MacMillan DNA study news

With the untimely passing of Adhania, the administrator of the DNA study since its inception, we needed a new leader. After consulting with Chief George, and holding a vote of the current study participants, Gary McMillian, president of the Texas branch and admin of the North American McMillian Surname Project at Family Tree DNA, was asked to step in as administrator. Gary graciously accepted and asked that I join him as co-admin which I did. We've since merged the two studies into one at Family Tree DNA to avoid any confusion.

Come check out our web site where we combine the results of M'Millans, and MacMillan septs, no matter where they've tested. We now have well over 100 participants.

We'd like to encourage any male carrying a Clan MacMillan, or one the its septs, surnames to test. Men with well documented roots in Scotland and/or Ireland are especially needed to help us flesh out the different M'Millan lines.
